Poppy Doll

I made this little doll for Ava for her 1st birthday.  I used the Poppy Doll pattern from HopSkipJump.  It is a great little pattern and I will definitely use it again!  I added little pockets and a button to the pants as well as a ruffle to the top!
I came across this post today on the HopSkipJump blog with instructions on how to add pig tails.  Pretty cute, eh?

Now that Ava is getting a little older it will be fun to start making her some fun play things!  I've been eyeballing the Wee Wonderfuls pattern book lately.  I've heard nothing but good things about it!

  1. The Wee Wonderfuls Book is totally worth it. I was surprised that it's cheaper than a lot of other craft books but yet is has quite a bit of heft to it. And some amazing projects. All new stuff -- not from the blog or her shop but the same easy-to-read patterns. I should probably do an actual review.
